I have more than a decade of experience as an instructional designer, project manager, and writer for organizations committed to community impact.

I love helping people connect and solve problems together. I'm a skilled human-centered design practitioner deeply informed by my experiences as a classroom teacher and my training in universal design for learning. I believe in enabling community members to find new ways to leverage their expertise, whether I'm working with high school students, veteran teachers, or community organizers.

Since 2007, I've designed programs and led events on subjects from education to civic engagement to public art. Get in touch and let's talk about how we might work together.

TEACHING & Writing

My graduate research focused on my two great passions: creativity and digital media. Since then, I've brought those areas of expertise to bear in grant applications, television scripts, tech product reviews, and more. Most recently, I've developed a field guide for community building change agents, interdisciplinary lesson plans for teachers, and resource guides for parents and caregivers.
